Taking Control
Once we start knowing ourselves better and take responsibility for where we are, we can begin to take better decisions and steer ourselves towards different, better outcomes. Many things that we do not expect and/or do not deserve by any measure do happen over a lifetime. We cannot, and certainly should not, blame ourselves for such or feel responsible. We can, however, take responsibility for what we transform our experiences into and how we move forward. That is power. Taking control of your life will help you face hardship and not let yourself be defined by it, but rather overcome it and make its lessons work for you.
